Duncan was, surprisingly, Hibs' top scorer in the League for season 1961/62.
Granted a free transfer in April 1964 he emigrated to Australia but returned to join the police force in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

His sister Nancy was a classmate of mine at Leith Academy

Misc/trivia :- The programme below mentioned that Duncan Falconer and his wife, Rosemary, had decided to emigrate to Australia - he was heading to Blacktown, near Sydney, where he had an uncle. He had no club lined up but he had served his time as a turner and his wife was a hairdresser, so there should be a good future for them.

He’s my Dad. They only stayed a short while in Australia and moved back to Kent where I was born.
Served 30 years in Kent police and is still living in the county.
