Angus Plumb joined the club in February 1948. When he was selected his goals-to-games ratio was impressive as the figures above show.

After Falkirk he played for East Fife and East Stirlingshire.

His career stats are worth mentioning, and amounted to 240 games and 143 goals - which equates to a very respectable 60% scoring average.
