Willie Paterson joined the club in 1975, after becoming homesick at Burnley. The highlight of his time at Easter Road would probably be his great header in the 'derby' game on 30/10/1976 (H 1-1). In March 1979 he joined Falkirk.

Finished his career with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

Saw him on debut v my team m'well. He was outstanding, great ball skills, was congratulated by all hibee players. Though he would be a star.
