2 comments so far (post your own)Alan was a part-time player with Hibs, who also taught Classics at Alloa Academy. He was a thinking player who combined goalscoring with great teamwork. At Dundee he was part of Bob Shankly's side who won the League in 1962 and had such greats as Alan Gilzean and Gordon Smith in their ranks.
Also played cricket for Clackmannan County.
