2 comments so far (post your own)Mervyn Jones joined the club in 1967. A left-back, he found it difficult to establish himself at Easter Road especially when the club signed Eric Schaedler and in July 1971 he joined Falkirk.
Also played for Stirling Albion, Cowdenbeath and Newtongrange Star.

Merv retires from HMRC today. One of the most popular people I know. As a union rep of longstanding many peoples lives have been improved by Merv. All the best mate. X
