Kenny Davidson was an outside-right, who briefly shone but thereafter struggled to establish himself.

In the space of about 3 years went from the highs of playing Vs Liverpool in the old Fairs Cup to getting a game for Hibs' 3rd team in the East of Scotland League. A bad leg break Vs Celtic on 23/12/1972 in Reserve League (H 3-0) did not help his cause either.

I played against Kenny in the Lord Weir , he was playing for Loanhead Mayflower, I played for Clydebank strollers I had the misfortune to bring him down for a penalty late in the game which meant a 2-0 win for Loanhead. I signed for Chelsea but within six months I received a head injury which resulted in me being paralysed on the left side of my body so that was me finished playing
