Peter Cormack was captain for the day in this game, and the result certainly pleased the manager who commented - "Our last game against Raith Rovers resulted in a comfortable success and I was pleased with the play of Willie McEwan who occupied the midfield for the first time in a League match."

Referee :- I.K. Bain, Bankhead.
