1 comments so far (post your own)John Baxter was a powerful half-back who joined the club in 1955. He could defend with vigour but liked to get forward and netted some memorable goals. Dependability rather than flashy excess were his hallmarks.
He stayed at the club until June 1966 when he joined Falkirk. From there he moved to Clydebank, his final club in senior football.
