Left-back and no mean performer at left-half either. Was a youthful prodigy , making his League debut at 16 and becoming a Cup final captain at 20. Fast, and an incisive tackler.
Scottish Cup finalist 1895 (Renton) ;
Scottish Cup winner 1902 (Hibs)
Capped on 3 occasions
