James McLean was sign from Winchburgh Albion. Iknow he went on to captain Stirling Albion to League Title after the war.

I'm sure this is my mate Donald McLeans' dad. A very nice family. Mr McLean god rest his soul died while watching Hibs play at Easter Road he was a life long fan of the club.

Id just like to say this is a great tribute to James Mclean who happens to be my Grandad!Im the daughter of his eldest son 'James' neice to 'Donald'. So nice to read through this wee bit of family history.

Also played for Airdrieonians (1946-47), Stirling Albion (1947-49) & Alloa Athletic (1949-50).
