Walter was my husbands Great Uncle, brother of John James Borthwick b 1885 & who played for Everton, and lived in Goodison Road Liverpool between 1911 (Census) and in 1924 also.

This was also my great Uncle Walter. Amazingly I was only aware that he played for Everton (But not Hibs!) I believe he ran the pub adjacent to Goodison Park when he retired.

Correction : Walter went on to play for P Thistle, but John played for Everton (and ran the pub mentioned in my last post) also believe he won a FA Cup winners medal with the Toffees. Their brother William was my Grandad. Carol Martin are you related to Mary Martin ?

I believe Walter also played for East Fife in 1915. Is he related to the player of the same name who played for East Fife between 1967 and 1974?
