Tony 'JP' McGlynn may not have a spectacular entry in the Hibernian hall of fame but he can at least point to two goals from only three starts. After Airdrie he went to Third Lanark in September 1964, but unfortunately the club folded in 1967 after a slow decline.

I was a colleague of Tony at the Scottish School of Physical Education.
If anyone one can give me any information on how I could contact him I would be very appreciative.

The former players association might be able to help you get in touch: contact via http://www.hfpa.org.uk or the club will be able to get you a contact there.

Tony's son Simon is a great drummer and have played in bands with him. He's very proud of the fact that his old man played for Hibs! OK only 3 games but loads of us would have loved to play even 1!! :-)
