Despite the game being played on a Tuesday night the attendance at Easter Road was the biggest of the season so far. Johnny Graham's first-half double took his total for the season to 19 goals, - including 15 for Falkirk. He was also pulled down for the penalty which clinched the game in the dying minutes.

Referee :- J.W. Paterson, Bothwell.
