Falkirk were a goal ahead through Craig Watson,
until Allan McGraw equalised in the closing minutes.

Bob Shankly said - "It is about time Hibs were winning a home match after a 1-0 defeat by Morton, and a 1-1 draw against Falkirk. We struck the wood on several occasions against Falkirk and it was one-way traffic in the last half-hour."

Referee :- T.E. Kellock, East Kilbride.
