Lawrie Reilly, playing his first game of the season, scored a hat-trick that showed the Hibs and Scotland leader was back with a bang. So much was the comeback awaited that the SFA had a selector at the game to assess Reilly's form. Eddie Turnbull blasted home the fourth from the spot and the Falkirk scorers were Sinclair and Campbell.
