Pat Stanton, aka "Niddrie", (1963-78, Hibernian, Celtic) was a half-back. At his peak regarded by many as the leading player in Scotland for his position. Indeed, former Scotland manager Tommy Docherty once described him as "... better than Bobby Moore." Scotland's 'Player of the Year' 1970.

Honours :- Hibernian - League Cup 1972;
Celtic - Scottish League champions 1977, Scottish Cup 1977. (edited by moderator)
