On 12 minutes Stanton broke through from midfield, rode Parlane's crude challenge, and then hit a shot from the edge of the area which struck Jackson's shins and was deflected past McCloy. For the second, after 66 minutes, a Gordon cross was nodded down by Hazel into the path of Edwards who shot firmly into the net.

Sub (not used) :- Baker.

Referee :- A.F.J. Webster, Falkirk.

Mickey Edwards scored a screamer to finish them off, it was a scary trip back to the buses as non of them had any windows left in them, they don't like it when they get beat by a real football team this of course was the old team then known as rangers, worst support in Britain (as people)

Have never seen Hibs before or since spray the ball about so often or accurately in a match they totally dominated.
