'Electrician Jimmy McCracken of Coatbridge, was only with Baillieston juniors ten weeks when he signed for Hibernian. Promising goalkeeper, was with Hibs on tour. Played at centre-half for amateur Lochrin Welfare. Fond of tennis and was one of the few mustachioed footballers in action last season.' (pg 44)
